In recent years there has been a lot of criticism over online education. Most of the resistance comes from educators and administrators of traditional brick-and-mortar schools. These closed-minded individuals believe the internet is a passing fad that will soon fall by the wayside. They also believe education must come from a human being and must be presented in person.
