Your vehicle owner’s manual should show the location of your windshield washer fluid reservoir. On newer vehicles the fluid reservoir has windshield wipers on the cap.

Many people don’t fill their windshield washer fluid until it runs out. There is a major flaw in that type of thinking. You have no backup in the event of an emergency. What happens if you’re driving at 60 mph and a truck splashes mud all over the windshield? You turn on the windshield wipers and… no more washer fluid. If you had checked the washer fluid during your regular vehicle inspection, you would’ve known it was low and filled it up!
