This course will introduce you to methods for constructing sentences in Japanese. You will learn the Japanese words for describing time such as the months of the year, days, hours, and minutes. You will also learn about different aspects of Japanese grammar such as verbs, demonstratives, and particles.

The course contains a series of lessons that demonstrate how to construct a particular sentence in Japanese such as “I am going to Tokyo tomorrow.” From there, you will practice using different parts of speech to increase your understanding, learning new ways of describing time in the process. Lessons end with brief introductions to new Kanji, expressions, and vocabulary that will further increase your knowledge of the Japanese language.

PREREQUISITE: This course is the third in a series of four courses in the Japanese Language series. You should take the first two courses before attempting this one.
