In this course you will learn vocabulary related to categories of food and drink. You will learn about singular and plural nouns. You will study the difference between countable and uncountable nouns and be able to form sentences. You will know how to form positive and negative questions and answers using the verb ‘to be’. You will study how to add ‘s’ and ‘es’ to plural nouns. You will practice using articles and measurement nouns.
In addition you will learn to recognize and use numbers and measurements with regard to food and drink. You will complete tasks that will improve your speaking and writing skills. You will learn about quantifiers, e.g. ‘how much’ and ‘how many’ and practice reading and listening to sentences.
In this course you will also get the opportunity to practice your knowledge of countable and uncountable nouns. Using clear presentations, you will practice saying simple questions and answers. Finally you will get to listen to and/or read a text that will improve your comprehension of the subject-matter covered.
Further in this course you will learn key vocabulary and grammar relating to food and drink. You will study forms for ordering food and drink using pronouns and verbs. You will learn to use appropriate questions and answers in formal and informal situations. You will practice using polite words and phrases. You will learn to recognize and use modal verbs and contractions.
