In this course you will practice using different verb forms, time words and phrases in the past and present tenses. You will learn about the different meanings and functions of the past and present tenses (simple, continuous, perfect) and the role of subject, verb and object.
In this course you will study the difference between states, actions and intentions and the role of modal verbs to talk about past habits and the future. You will practice using auxiliary verbs for emphasis and interest, with question tags and to avoid repetition.
This course includes a short guide to writing, with tips on how to prepare, lay out and finish various writing tasks. This course also includes a section on pronunciation, that includes information on how tone and sound changes depending on the intentions of the speaker.
