In this course you will learn how to use adjectives to describe things – especially relating to holidays and travel. You will learn how to use nouns and adjectives in sentences. You will practice using positive and negative words and phrases. You will read sample texts and listen to audio by native speakers of English. You will learn useful expressions related to travel. You will study how to form comparative adjectives by using rules, suffixes and other words. In addition you will learn about irregular adjectives and you will have the opportunity to practice your learning by completing tasks.

You will also learn grammar and vocabulary related to travel and adventure. You will learn rules relating to grammar. There is a strong focus on superlative adjectives (friendliest, most interesting etc.) in this section of the course, where you will complete tasks using adjectives, comparatives and superlatives. 

Further in this course you will learn vocabulary relating to things to see and visit. You will learn about imperative verbs. You will read texts and complete exercises. Also covered in this section of the course is how to ask for and give directions using the appropriate words, phrases and grammar.

Finally in this course you will learn how to use vocabulary and grammar related to describing places. You will read texts and listen to native speakers to help improve your listening and speaking skills. You will learn about the nouns and categories used for describing places and things. You will use common words and phrases in sentences to describe places such as cities, buildings and tourist attractions and you will complete practical tasks to improve your knowledge.
