In this course you will learn vocabulary for rooms and things in the home. You will study using the verb ‘to be’ – ‘is and ‘are’ for things, places and people. You will learn how to form positive and negative verbs and singular and plural words. You will learn how to use commas and prepositions in sentences. In addition you will study about using the modal verb can and its negative can’t. You will learn to use various persons, pronouns and verbs. You will understand what it means for something to be possible or impossible. You will learn to recognize and use different prepositions, as they relate to giving people directions.

You will also learn vocabulary related to shops and things we buy and sell. You will read and listen to simple, practical conversations in English. You will practice using simple questions and answers. You will learn what to say to get what you want and how to sound polite. You will practice using forms and adjectives in positive and negative sentences. 

Finally in this course you will learn vocabulary and grammar related to places. You will learn to use forms and verbs properly. You will practice simple questions and answers in conversations and you will complete questions and tasks.
