The course begins by introducing you to the types of communication that occur in the classroom such as verbal versus non-verbal communication, and you will also learn how participation structures function in the classroom.
Next, the course teaches you about instructional planning. You will be introduced to US national and state learning standards and learn about the difference between curriculum frameworks and curriculum guides.
In addition, you will learn how to formulate strong, measurable objectives, and how to motivate students using theories of motivation, attribution, interest, and self-efficacy.
